Board & Staff

We’re proud to introduce our team, each person’s respective role and some information about him or her. Meet our Board of Directors and our Staff.

Kaytlin Elswick, Executive Director 

Kaytlin is the Executive Director for CASA of the Appalachian Mountains. She is a native of Pike County, Kentucky, where she resides with her husband and daughter. Kaytlin received her Bachelors degree in Political Science at the University of Kentucky. She continued her education by obtaining her Juris Doctorate at Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Kaytlin has worked for nonprofits such as Legal Aid of the Bluegrass and Partners for Rural Impact's Letcher Promise Neighborhood. She spends her free time outdoors with her daughter breeding and raising various chicken breeds that produce colorful eggs.

Kayla Bryant, Volunteer Coordinator

Kayla serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for Perry, Knott, Leslie, and Letcher counties.

Kayla earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Morehead State University, along with a minor in Social Work. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships within the community and empowering volunteers to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families.

A proud Perry County native, Kayla was raised in Viper, Kentucky, and is married to her high school sweetheart, Corey. Outside of her work with CASA, she enjoys attending church, traveling, reading, arts and crafts, photography, and spending quality time with her family.

LaFarrah Little, Volunteer Coordinator

LaFarrah is the Volunteer Coordinator for Pike, Floyd and Magoffin counties.

LaFarrah received her Bachelor's Degree in human services and management from University of Phoenix. She believes the most exciting part of her job is having the ability to help those who can't help themselves. She has always had a desire to work with children and is glad that she has the opportunity.

LaFarrah has six and half years of experience working in the mental health and substance abuse field. She is married to her best friend Eplin and is the mother of two wonderful boys. She has a variety of hobbies which includes painting and playing computer games.
